Meilissa, When my Niece turned 11 someone bought her some Jelly Beans that had all sorts of wild flavors like Burnt Toast, Peanutbutter & Jelly, Grass and many other weird flavors (some gross). The Jelly Beans came with a little book identerfying what flavors each Bean was. Well my Niece would give us a Jelly bean to eat and we would try to quess what flavor it was suppose to be, I remember eating one and could not figure out what the strange taste was as soon as she told me it was grass flavor I reconized it imeditly. We all had a great time (including us adults) and many laughs. When we started it was just for fun and it turned into a game. I have seen these Jelly Beans for sale at Sams and WalMart and I'm sure you can find them other places. Their not cheap but not terribly exspencive. Happy Birthday!

Not necessarily a game, but we always enjoyed charades no matter what the age. And are you doing make-your-own pizza?

Tonight I am not making pizza, Grandma is buying it as a treat for Lindsey. I usually always make my own crust, and use homemade canned sauce though. My two oldest daughters are good at it too. Makes a great supper. I will post the recipe later if anyone wants it.

This is fun if you have the room. Blow up balloons, tie a string about 2 ft long to each, each person ties a ballon to his/her ankle, now you try to pop everybody else's ballon without yours getting popped. No hands allowed.

I was once at a birthday party, and the boys had a game of who could stuff the most marshmallows in his mouth. This was pretty funny, although some of them needed help with unstuffing. Yuk! - Vicki

Just wanted to let you know that the party was fine. We played the balloon game, and charades. I will keep the jelly bean one in mind for the future. Then they played football and ate 4 boxes of pizza. It was fun for everyone. Thanks and feel free to keep posting if you think of anything else, maybe someone else can use the ideas.

Hope this isn't too late: Hang doughnuts from a string (we did it off an upper balcony outside) and the contestants have to eat their donut without touching it or having it fall on the ground.

Pass an apple under the chin.
