I have a question. As a Christian, why should I care at all about 666 or global coinage or one world religion or two fellows in sack cloth and ashes preaching in front of the temple in Jerusalem, or any of the signs of the end of the age and Christ returning to gather His church to Him?????? If 666 is coming..yeehaw because that means it really is the end times and I will be jumping up and down with joy (after i stock up on food and supplies). Christians are supposed to behave as if Christ will return at any second anyway, so why get all gloom and doom over this stuff? The only thing which would put a damper on the end times is the knowledge that so many folks haven't been saved yet. But/...as Christians, we are supposed to be out there preaching the Word anyway, so again, what does it change for us? I just re-read this and I sound crabby..I am not at all..I truly do not understand the warnings, etc.

Lesley, we need to be praying for all the people who aren't saved, that they *will* be saved, before it's too late. We are in the end times, heading for the Tribulation, and that is stated in the Bible to be such a horrible time that if God didn't cut things short, all life would end. As it is, an enormous percentage of the world's population will die before Jesus Christ comes back to set up His kingdom here on the earth -- one of the prophecies is that it will take seven months to bury the dead from the battle of Armageddon. But something like 3/4 of the population will already have died of wars, plagues, and famines. So it is definitely something to be sober and prayerful about. We all have loved ones who aren't saved, who may go through the Tribulation (I do believe that born-again Christians will be removed from the earth before the Tribulation starts).

I haven't checked the web site yet, but I just wanted to toss this out....I think the reason for us to talk about it is so that others can hopefully see it is coming. yeah, if it weren't for all the death, carnage, and unsaved folks dying that way there would be nothing to be down in the mouth about at all. I am just really thankful that I *know* how it ends, and I admit it does make me happy to know that we are just one day closer to Christ coming back!

Personally, I am convinced that the church will go through the tribulation. I know many don't believe that but I've been studying the Word for a really long time and I can't find any proof.

The Bible says we are sealed by the Holy Spirit when we accept Christ as our Savior so the argument that only the Jews are sealed in the NT doesn't wash with me.

The Bible also states that the dead in Christ shall rise first and that this happens at the sound of the last trumpet. Just when do you suppose this happens? Well, there is a reference to the first resurrection in Rev. 20:4,5

I don't believe I am doom and gloom about it, just practical. I believe that a lot of Christians will be shocked when they find themselves unprepared for the hardship and persecution. I think ole slew foot will use it as an opportunity to cause people to give up and fall away. There will be those who feel betrayed by the churches for not telling them the truth.

I also believe that Jesus warned us to be prepared not only for our families but also for other believers. Matt. 24:45 Of course, I allow anybody to have their own opinion and I don't get into spitting contests over doctrine unless it takes away from the Gospel and salvation.

I do lean towards believing that the times of the Gentiles will be fulfilled at the point of the tribulation's beginning. Those sealed in Revelation 7 are of the twelve tribes of Judah. Remember, those who are in Christ are only of the seed of Abraham spiritually, and are counted in the tribe of Judah, as Jesus is of the tribe of Judah.

If you look at Rev 7, you will see that immediately preceeding the sealing of the 144,000, there was a tremendous earthquake. At the moment of the earthquake, a momentous thing happens. The times of the Gentiles seems to come to an end, as the 144,000 are sealed. AND the church of the times of the Gentiles are seen in heaven. Chapter 7 seems to be emphasising the contrast between Jew and Gentile at this point in time.

Do you remember that in the Old Testement, new brides had a week of honeymoon before coming out of the bridal chamber? (Remember Leah? Jacob had to fulfill her week to her, before he could take Rachel.) That type should not be ignored. The marriage supper of the Lamb takes place when we get to heaven. And we will have a week in the bridal chamber with Him before we come out to get to work on earth.

Remember that great earthquake at the end of Revelation 6? Could that not correlate with the great earthquake when Jesus died, and the old testament saints arose? And when Jesus rose, there was another earthquake. Could this worldwide earthquake of Revelation 6 actually signal the worldwide resurrection of the New Testament saints at the Rapture? Taking all other scriptures into account, I would say it is very possible.

If you look carefully through the book of Revelation, the Church (the Bride of Christ) isn't mentioned as being on the earth after chapter four, verse one. And I think Daffodyllady is right about the wedding feast -- remember the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is talked about? The Tribulation, the seven-year period, is the last week of Daniels 49 weeks allotted to the nation of Israel -- there was a hiatus he didn't see for the Church age, but we are almost to the end of that.

Well, there are more earthquakes than the one in Rev. 6 mentioned...

Revelation 16:18 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. KJV

But back in Matt. Jesus gives a series of events that will take place.

Matt 24:7-8 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. KJV Matt 24:13 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. KJV

Matt 24:29-31 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. KJV

Actually, no we're not, thank you. Christians do agonize over what will happen to the unsaved but one of the blessings of being a Christian is knowing who holds the power, what happens at the end of the story, and having the knowledge that He will be with us to the very end...and a new beginning. That is the wonderful assurance we have of being one of his own.

Sure we could die. Unless He comes soon, we most certainly will die, like anyone else. But what is there to be afraid of when He who holds the keys of death and has resurrection power, also holds our hand? Jesus has promised nothing will separate us from him. Death holds no power over us. The wonderful thing is that same love and care we've been given is available to everyone. Doesn't matter who you are, what you've done, Jesus is holding out his hand to you too.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him shall have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16-17 (emphasis mine)

No one can be so bad they would not be accepted by him. There is no exclusive club, no dues to pay. He has already paid the ultimate price. For the time being, the invitation is still open to all, but time is running short.

i thought that your page is awsome to read and i fully beleive everything that you say. i would have to agree that i think that chritains will go through that tibulation thing. it will be our last test. becuase it says in revelations things that are going to happen but that it wont happen to those who will be saved. i think that we as christain need to be very careful over the next ffew years. once the world leader come and announces that the mark of the beast will arrive we as followers of god will be in trouble. also anther thing we as christains need to watch out for is how the number 666 is coming into our churches. you can find the number in symbols that make up a shape etc. i was looking at this broocher for a christain camp over new years and right there on the front was the number 666 that was just put in a way to look like a pretty little picture. but back onto the point. all though it seems awful to people that arnt christains that im excited about the war happening. i fully am because the sooner god comes back the sooner we can go home.

Revelation Chap. 14 vrs.17…And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. Revelation Chap.15 vrs.8… And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. There is no rapture.we are all here during the tribulation and plagues. The battle of Armageddon occurs after the sixth plague when the world turns to destroy the remnant of Israel.
