Art Bell fans?

Art is dead.

JUUUUUST kidding! LOL

He might as well be though, there's about a 1 in 5 chance that the lazy fuck goes on the air over the last several months. The whole thing about back problems is a crock of shit and he's been lying to his fans all along.

Talked to a friend in Vegas who knows some of his groupies. Ever since he got that huge motorhome he and Ramona have been flying the coop quite a bit. They split in the dead of night trying to be incognito, then he calls in from the road to tell his network that it might be a few more days for his back to recover.

It all started when he took his first vacation this year in June, only a couple months after returning from "retirement". His website said he would be on the air Monday and Tuesday, and leaving on Wednesday. That was all a cover so that his fans would not try to tag along. In reality, he had already split the previous weekend, then all of a sudden a guest host shows up on Monday, no sign of Art.

He liked his new motorhome so much that when he finally came back a month later he made up some story about slipping on a flashlight. A back problem is the perfect "disability"... doctors can't verify it, and it can "act up" whenever you want it to.

If the lying motherfucker wants to take more vacation he should just be honest about it. Now he's even got some of his fans trying to organize huge praying conferences to help him heal. I still enjoy a lot of the guests, but Art is a dishonest piece of shit. Ian Punnet is a loser and Barbara Simpson is a bitch, but at least they are honest with the listeners.

I happen to agree with you. Moreoever, I believe he's maniac depressive. Also he's accident prone. Remember one night during a commercial break he didn't come back on the air? He claims he was having a deck put on his home, and during a commercial break he stepped outside for a cigarette. He forgot there was no deck there, and fell several feet to the ground. He's got plenty of money from all the law suits he has settled and does not care to be on the air. If he's able to step up into a motor home and sit in a seat traveling for hours, he can certainly sit in a chair and run his program for 4 hours. You can bullshit some of the people some of the time, but you can't bullshit all the people all of the time.

Art Bell? Nothing wrong with that boy, he’s just a clever opportunist that has collected a fan base of mental freaks who have provided him an easy way to generate some income. The freaks however, are another story. Art is not losing any sleep over your ‘feelings’ about him, as long as he doesn’t have to actually meet you in person. Please, stay inside.

For your information, pea brains, Art has purchased the lava tube two over from the one Maj. Ed Dames and his family own on an as yet unnamed island in the south pacific. Art's absences are due to his shipping supplies over there and supervising Ramona's interior decoration of the lava tube. She can go overboard with the Wicca stuff, ya know, and Art is flexible but must keep an eye on his wife nonetheless.

The fact is Art has hired a couple to drive the motor home around the southwest as decoys. So that friend in Vegas who knows others who think they know something, know diddley-squat.

Furthermore, Art DID fall off the nonexistent deck and DID sorta Crazy Glue his lips together during a top of the hour break. True stories.

Ian Punnett is an interesting dude, IMO. He hopes one day to be able to afford a lava tube of his own. The way things are going he better get crackin'.

Art Bell has many guests who honestly state their experiences. If you choose not to believe, the answer is simple, don't listen in. I have always found him to be honest, both in his assessment of himself, and his guests. He has a rich archive on his site (artbell.com) of his "alternative" guests (read not mainstream media), which most folks would never be exposed to, but thousands of folks listen to. His site has had over 82 million hits as of this writing. As an aside, I have to wonder where the public decided that folks in the media were up for public debate about their personal lives. That is something I have never understood, or agree with. Or will I ever. Just because someone has some public personage, what entitles people to criticize them? Additionally, I always have to wonder about people who point the finger at others, while not being able to look in the mirror to detect their own failings and correct them. There might be a message there for you anons, should you be willing to look in the mirror. Just a thought.

Duuuuuh, when they discuss their personal lives on the air, it becomes PUBLIC! Remember Bill Clinton???

All summer long in 20002 it was said that Art Bell's back will conveniently get better after Labour Day. It's ok to take a summer break. Just be honest about it.

Barbara Simpson is a bitch. Whenever a caller calls in and talks about something that really interests me, she cuts them off and doesn't let them finish.

George Noory keeps trying to imitate Art Bell instead of just being himself. He keeps saying everything is "amazing" or "unbelievable", even when it isn't that amazing. He's really overdoing it.
