I'm going to be building a kitchen table and what I call a work station soon. I don't plan on painting or staining it. Keeping in mind tht I have chemical poisoning any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you help

I am assuming that you are asking about alternative finishes, your post does not ask for such. If this is what you are asking; how about pure lindseed oil, an organic product.
