Excellent image. It gives me the sense of sorrow by looking at the eyes of the elephant. The eyes staring to the lower left corner which give another special feeling. But the white shadow on the lower left corner is annoying. I don't know what that is. Is it from scanning? Also the black curve line on the middle left of the picture is a little disturbing. Hope to see more of the pictures like this.

I actually hadn't noticed the white area on the L.L. corner (foreground junque.) I have reposted a better crop of the photo which should appear in the forum. The original crop with the white spot is still available at:

I never saw the white spot, and I don't mind the rock texture being visible in the background. I really like the highlights of hair on the top of the elephant's head, and the very human expression captured.
