VP Dick Cheney Moved to Camp David

WASHINGTON (AP) - Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) was moved Thursday to Camp David in what his spokeswoman called ``a purely precautionary measure'' following this week's terrorist strikes.

Cheney would rejoin President Bush (news - web sites) in Washington this weekend, press secretary Juleanna Glover.

``This is a purely precautionary measure,'' Glover said. ``It is an indication, though, that there's been a change in the way things are going to be run after Tuesday's terrorist attacks. From a security standpoint, this is not business-as-usual any more.''
