Useful graphics of events in NYC and Washington DC

Among the many newspaper resources, the graphics offered at the Sydney Morning Herald are especially well done. See

http://www.smh.com.au/

and click on "Pop Up Graphics" at lower right. The map of services affected (including subway stations) in lower Manhattan was particularly useful in considering who might have been directly affected.

Second best IMHO are the animated graphics at USA Today, www.usatoday.com, showing the sequence of events but probably difficult to download over slow lines.
