Perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror. 13 All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. 14 Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by. 15 That is all they can do for you-- these you have labored with and trafficked with since childhood. Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you.

I Believe:

I have always thought you to be one of the more reasonable christian posters to this board. But I will say to you what I said to General Patton, It is your kind of mindset that leads to the kind of tragedy we had on Tuesday. You bring up old testament scripture to denounce my belief system and my personal attempts to deal with grief.

You qoute from the old testament, which is so totally dishonest. If you are going to present such scripture as "truth", you cannot avoid putting yourself in the position to try and justify Leviticus and other such horrors. Should we now kill sons and daughters who disobey their parents?

You have your space, your belief system to live in. Denouncing the beliefs of others, proselytizing your own at such a time is unfathomable. You are so blinded by your righteousness, so shaded by the "ONE TRUE GOD", that you miserably go out of your way to find an irrelevant old testament qoute to try and cast your aspersions on astrologers.

Believe in who you believe. Knowing the history of astology, and knowing how prevalent it was at the time of Christ, I can assure you he used astrology.

I am so sorry you felt it necessary at this time when we should be all together to think it necessary to try and SAVE ME.

what references do you have that Jesus used astrology? I can't take your "lot's of people did so he must have too" argument as valid proof. He was somewhat of a unique man...
