I checked into buying equipment and stock to raise tilapia fish for the market. "Wow" I would have to have a lot of capitol to get started with and not really sure whether I could find a market for it or not. It was too expensive for me to even think about getting started.Catfish farming may be a little easier. I watched on the news where this man was raising catfish for the market. He was reaching into a bucket of feed and throwing a big handful at a time out into the water. He said that every handful that he throws out is putting about $5.oo in his pocket. He didn't have near as much invested in those ponds as he would have if he was trying to raise tilapia fish.
