Gas prices

Gas prices here in Indiana are up to $5.00 a gallon. In North Vernon, I was told that most stations closed and the ones that stayed open were selling for around $3.50 a gal. We still have it for $1.64 and the lines are getting longer and longer. Guess that won't be the only thing going up in price:~{

What's that verse that says "If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, I will heal their nations." I think it's in I or II Chronicles somewhere.

Hubby called and asked me to fill up the tank of the van. A co- worker told him it is up to $5.00 a gallon in OKC. It's still 1.59 here, but the station was hopping.... 2Chronicles7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Gas went up an average of 10¢ a gallon here. There were no lines and less traffic than normal. Walmart was nearly empty, didn't check the grocery store.

I listened to the radio a bit and heard that gold was now skyrocketing in price......I'm so saddened by all of this. One of my friend's roomates worked at the WTC. Don't know yet whether she is okay.

Gas prices are calming down here, the authorities are putting a stop to the price gauging.

Gas has droped back to $1.49. Seems the Governor's stoped the goughing madness by threatening heavy fines to the stores. PLUS Exxon and Mobile SAID "Any station caught goughing will be fined and excluded for 4 shipments of fuel" Pretty strong deterents.

I put $10.00 in the gas tank at Goodies service station in the morning and about 4 hours later it was $1.84. This is in Oklahoma City. This is price goughing
