I am looking for a tripod I saw used with the Monox Spycamera that had flexible legs and was about 6- 10 inches tall. Any one have any ideas where ?

Short of that, there is a collapsable tripod (5-9 inches tall ) at B&H for $19. http://www.Freestylecamera.com has one for $10. I need the mount surface to be no larger than say a nickle or quarter etc for point and shoot camera use.

Miniature tripods like you describe are available in many photo stores. I have a very small and pretty decent one (Giottos Q-Pod) that has collapsible legs and allows both vertical and horizontal shots. I carry it as part of my point and shoot kit, and it works quite well.
