We are looking for a level for the camera that attaches to the flash attachment. Any ideas?

Thanks

These levels are available from accessories suppliers such as Hama, but I have a feeling that they are not as accurate as they should be, especially due to the fact that it would be hard to be absolutely sure that the accessory shoe on a camera is completely parallel to the optical axis. I am not saying that these levels are of no use, but it is something one should bear in mind.

You can make your own... Locally, the 99c store has spirit levels for 99c (hence the name of the store..lol) which can be taken apart and the spirit tubes removed. Using a cheap foot from a broken flash or other equipment, they can be glued on in any way necessary and then mounted on the camera shoe.

The ones from Porters or Hama (same ones?) are too expensive for what they are. At a local Ritz camera they are $20. Ew.
