There is an Amish man who makes new bases and wooden tops for treadle machines. You may be able to get just the part you need. He sells them through a sewing store in Fort Wayne, IN. There website is http:// www.edwardssewing.com/ You might write and ask them for more information.

I believe that singer sewing machine sells the treadle cabinet without the machine.

Does anyone know how much? I've been looking for one because after I recieved my Lehman's catalog, my husband says he can do a conversion for my electric machine. Lehman's has one but it is sooooo expensive! annette
