Culpepper Blew it!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Purple : One Thread

That was the single worst performance I have ever seen from one guy. It's not that I haven't seen worse games by a QB, but I have never seen a team play so well only to have 1 guy suck ass and blow it for everyone.

I was really impressed with our D-Line, every guy that was active played and contributed. Our DB's looked a lot more aggressive, they were right there several times. Our O-Line held up, Our Backs did well for playing in a come from behind mode offense. Our WR's got open a lot. Chamberlain was solid. EMac looked awesome. Wong had a few good plays and a lot of "WHERE THE FUCK IS WONG" type plays. Chukwurah/Hall combined for like 2 tackles.

I think if Daunte can pull his head out of his ass, this team can rebound and still make the playoffs. I think our D is on it's way back to respectability. If not for a few isolated bad plays, the Kittens would not have won this game (Return, Flea Flicker, Ksasser fumble & DC's Duck INT).

On a side note, the refs were awful, I don't think they cost us the game, but some of their gaffs were laughable. The delay of game that was like at least 5 seconds over the zero point. Then there was a play where Kieth Thibideaux was running down to cover a punt and there were two Titans repeatedly hitting him while he was out of bounds trying to return to the field of play. There was also a rediculous holding non call where a guy pulled Sawyer to the ground Pro Wrestling style as the Panther RB ran by him for 10 yards.

Oh, well. Life goes on. Just another dissapointment, getting used to it from the Gang Green.

Culpepper had one bad game so let's not kill him. At least he was man enough to take the blame. He will be BACK!! We have to throw to Moss more. Even if we throw it up to him 4 or 5 times and he comes down with one or two TD's it's worth it.
