We rode out to Northwestern N. J. yesterday. We stopped at a farm market. The farmer told me that this year was the first time that he had ever seen his veggies get "burn on the vine". I asked him if this was due to the heatwave we had in August. He said that it was not due to this, because he had experienced extended hot weather before without seeing this. He heard that it was due to the "solar flares" that we experienced this year. He had never seen anything like this in over 30 years of farming.
