preparing chemicals and light sensitivity

Hi,

I'm going to start preparing my own chemicals for developing, and would like to know if developer (D-76) and/ or fixer (kodak) need to be in light sensitive (dark) bottles.

Thanks a lot! Justin

No need for dark bottles. Just keep them out of direct sun.

I second the above. I use empty plastic Coke bottles (clear plastic) and just keep them in a closet until I need them. I've been doing this for a long time. No problems (and you can break the 1.5 liter Coke bottles down to 3 500ml Coke bottles when you open one of the big ones). Daniel Ridings
