We were very interested in the cover of the Sept./Oct. JOurnal, which pictured the EcoVillage at the Midwest Renewable Energy Festival. We live in Washington, near Seattle, and our property is near Billings Montana. Does anyone know of a similar festival in our part of the country? We have been investigating wind and solar energy for our property, but have only found spotty, single resources, such as one booth at a fair. We would like to be able to talk to many different resources in a common area.

i don't specifically know the answer to your question, but i would suggest you check with the folks over at backwoodshome magazine. they are in oregon/california border area, not too terribly far from you in washington. i would think they would know.
