To Better Subjects; what did you do today.greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread |
For me, I made ketchup this afternoon. It is a lot of work, but it is worth it. I will make more on saturday before I leave for the PNW. It will last until 2003.What I make is much better than the commercial stuff. As far as I know.
Now the tornado sirens are going off and I must leave. No time to say more at this time. :)
Best Wishes,,,,

Well according to the emergency response center, it was a lightening strike on the warning siren. It is interesting; tornadoes always hit trailer parks and lightening always strikes warning sirens. :)Still, I have l lost a few modems and it is as dark as night here. I think that I will sign off and unplug the modem. Don't understand this since our lines have been fiber optics for a decade.
Best Wishes,,,,

What I do today?? Well, at least I didn't have to run for cover from a tornado, real or not! Glad it was a false alarm!!! I just baked my ass off under the hot Arizona Sun again for the 100th time this summer, wishing like hell for a cloudy day, a cool breeze, and some rain would be nice too... I don't ask for much!

I guess I might as well prepare myself for the lutefisk jokes, but ketchup [or even catsup] is NOT a subject in my household. I bought a bottle once, but no one ever used it and I tossed it after about two years.
