The moon will be 86% full, and waxing gibbous (or should that be gobulous and scary?), according to lunar expert Elis Eberlein, who conveniently enough is also the course setter for the (tentative, pending sanctioning and USOF BOD awarding)US Night Champs in 2002. Elis adds that with twilight occuring at 9:03pm, we should be able to have first starts shortly thereafter.
