That was a pretty impressive game imho. Culpepper looked sharp, Moss had the dropsies, but he was his usual step behind the defense. The O-Line was solid. Liewinski didn't look like he is going to be an issue out there at RT. Kleinsasser was blowing people up. Chamberlain had a nice grab. Chappie looked good. Bennett, now what can I say about this guy? Was it just me or did he actually blur when he changed gears on that sweep that he busted for the big gainer? That was insane, that was the fastest I have ever seen someone change gears in my life. Our Offense looks like they are better then ever.

The D was kind of a mixed bag. I really liked what I saw from Shawn Worthen. He could end up being the steal of the draft. Strong, fast, we are set at DT for the next decade if we can keep Hovan and Worthen healthy and under contract. The Ends were o.k. Linebackers were ehhh. Jim Nelson made some plays in reserve. DB's were maybe a hair better then last season, but they still have a long way to go.

Jacquet looked good as a return guy, hit the holes fast and hard, no big gainers though. Our Kicking game sucked, but those guys are pros, they will get it worked out when it counts.

Finally, Harold Morrow was great. He knocked the crap out of the Saints special teamers all night. Definetely the #1 Wedge buster ever to play in the NFL. I am going to start campaiging the Hall of Fame voters the day he retires.

I agree I was very impressed they played very well cosidering the lack of work,and nobody got seriously hurt.I would like to think it was defensive improvment during the game,but there was a vast difference in the first quarter when Brooks was in there and the second when Blake came in,they were all over him.

I was very impressed,considering we've had no training camp. I like Worthen. Pepper, Moss and the "O" will be fine. Bennett, Chapman and even that guy Waddell or whatever lokked good. Pass rush was decent, We were allover Blake and the other guy, I forget his name. all in all I was very surprised and PLEASED. GO VIKES!!!!
