Yesterday on my way to the basement(house is built into a hillside so the basement is ground level in the front)to get some tools & stuff,I see the back part of a snake along the walk, aah stupid dogs must have left it here,I'll pick it up on the way back.So on the way back I go to pick up this snake...WHOA...this thing is still alive, and when it moves out where I can see it,this thing has a frog (legs first)clear up to the frogs head.......now that was quite a sight!!!Kinda brings a new meaning to Fast Food..................

Steve, just this week, we had a snake in one of the window wells with an elongated froglike shape about 6" past its head. We watched it, wondering if it could get out or would try to get into the house some way. Finally, we were amazed to see the snake push itself up over the window well to escape. It wasn't a very big snake and only about 5-6" of the tail (?) supported the whole body until it managed to get enough of itself over the edge to pull itself out. It wasted no time in escaping at that point which was fine with me.

To think I checked this post thinking it might have a good recipe!! No thank you!! Snakes are really amazign, not my favorite mind you. I guess that's one reason why, many of them eat frogs and toads.

What did you do with the snake?
