Troyes complain about Nobbygreenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
Official complaint to UEFA regarding the fact that we registered the Nobster as Peruvian.Twats.
Bad move on their part I reckon - could get us nicely wound up for the second leg.

That's ok. We can counter by complaining Troyes are registered as French. When did Nobby's original work permit run out and when did the Greek passport come into play?

According to Freddy Shepherd today, Nobby has reverted back to being Peruvian. He renewed his Peru pastport and was granted a work permit because of his international appearances two months ago. His work permit lasts as long as his new 5 year contract (and beyond if he re- signs in the future)So 1. The passport saga is dead and 2. registering Nobby as Peruvian with UEFA is quite correct.

Apparently, the Toon have now lodged a complaint with UEFA about the unsatisfactory state of the facilities at the Stade De L'Aube, including the changing rooms and visiting fans area.I can certainly vouch for the disgraceful and unsafe conditions in the area we were in - which wasn't even worth the paltry £4.20 entry fee.
This is boiling up into potentially another Stevenage-type situation, which will probably create a pretty sparky match atmosphere for the return, but is unlikely to show either of the protagonists in a good light.

Troyes complaint has been rejected by UEFA, infact I heard they laughed so hard at the baselessness of the complaint, that they thought it was a prank.

We should complain about them saying it's in the champagne country. It's only good for growing rice in my experience.
