We bought a male goat in April. Our pygym/dwarf female came into heat 3 times while we had him, until we sold him (he was only for "hire"). This is now August and she not gone into "heat" since then, is it safe to assume that she is with "kid(s)"? And if the 150-155 days until gestation period is correct, does that mean that in October (around the 5th or so) we will be expecting young ones?

Well, here it is the 10th of August, and she still hasn't come into heat. We've definitely noticed a difference in her – she doesn't eat as much of her hay or food. Looks like she might have lost some weight, maybe in preparation of little hoves to come? She drinks fine and appears to be fine. We are keeping our fingers cros
