Bow River in Banf

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread

This is my first post. This is the Bow river in Banf, Alberta. Taken end of June 2000. Early afternoon. Used a Minolta X-700, 50mm lens. No tripod. Don't remember the f stop or speed. Kodak Royal Gold 200 film. I'm not happy with the scan.

Composure is ok but seems a little flat. Sky seems really overexposed compared to the rest of the scene.

Lovely! I would have liked to see this picture with a slow shutter speed - I think that would give the water a bit more interest. I love where you are standing. Overall it is very interesting.
