Since there're several DVD-R/RW drives out there, does anyone of you happen to have one? If you do, can you play the DVD-R/RW disc successfully on any set-top DVD Player? I'm thinking of getting one, but not sure if it's the prime time yet. Also, would existing burning software work on these new DVD-R/RW drives such as Nero or Easy CD on regular CD-RW/R discs?

If you go to the link below you`ll find a list of standalone DVD players and what formats they wil playback..quiet alot of them will play VCD, SVCD XVCD miniDVD and DVDs burned on home DVD-R drives..take a peek and see...
