A US Airways flight from Philadelphia to Tampa made an emergency landing Monday afternoon at Piedmont Triad International Airport after cockpit indicators showed the jet was losing hydraulic fluids. About 180 people were on board Flight 1957 when the plane landed about 3:30 p.m. without any major problems. No injuries were reported, said Rick Weintraub, a spokesman for the Arlington, Va.- based airline.
The plane was grounded for maintenance and the passengers were put on different flights to Tampa. Weintraub was not aware of any prior problems with the Boeing 757. http://cnniw.yellowbrix.com/pages/cnniw/Story.nsp?story_id=22459948&ID=cnniw&scategory=Aviation
