Hoping anyone might see this, Fourth Ward School is again organizing an open day at Sutro, Nevada on July 19, 2003. The price this year is $15 advanced and $20 at the event; fourthwardschool.com or (775)847- 0975. I was fortunate enough to attend the 2001 event, and it's a wonderful adventure. Sutro is just east of Dayton, Nevada, which is just east of Carson City; or, about 40 miles SE of Reno.

Is there a visit to the Sutro Tunnel planned for 2004?
