I use WinOnCD 3,7 to make VCD,but the sound is really bad "has anyone a clue"

Everything seems to go really geat, but hven i lay the disc into may DVD player(pioneer dv-525) the picture is great but not the sound. I hope enyone can help me. THANKS!!!! Jostein from NORWAY

Hi, I believe it would be your DVD player. The audio on a VCD is essentially an MP2 file. Some DVD players cannot decode such audio files. Check out a book called DVD Demystified if yo really want to get into the technical side (also a website of similar name)

Look, you dont all these fucking programs all you need is one,thats it you dont need any encoder or anything just nero5.0 you can use the demo version it works for about 30 days then when thats up download it again, but nero has a encoder in it already its the fastest shit out therei have gone through about 30 different programs and over 100 websites saying you need all this shit, well you dont just get nero5.0 at download.com,it supports any kind of video file,its the best.....and its very easy to use, email me for details or questions

ok, its me again.. i just noticed my last post, from 2001 LOL oh my i was stupid! nero is cool but only for burning for all the compressing and all you need something like tmpgenc it converts just about anything to mpg and mpg is the format for burning.. you can download tmpgenc at www.tmpgenc.com
