I am currently looking for a SQL Server DBA in NYC for the leading Web and wireless platform for young adults The company provides cutting-edge communications tools that enable young adults to interact in a relevant, member-created environmen. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of the data servers. They will optimize the servers so that they can serve the web site to the fullest potential, including making sure all code, tables, and indexes are properly built as well as uphold the standards set for development and administration. The position is mostly focused on Administration and Maintenance but you must be knowledgeable enough in TSQL to assist with Data development. Must also be familiar with SQL 7.0, 2000 DB administration, NT 4.0, NT3K. This is a full time position paying between 55k - 60k.
