My guess is too many conservative Republican Congresscritters howled like scalded cats, because this idea would have handed the Democrats a big stick to beat them black and blue in the midterm elections.

"Jesus" scared them away. LOL.

There was a plan in Minnesota to issue drivers licenses to illegals.

There was a plan here in Minnesota to issue drivers licenses to illegals. The benefits were that they'd get formal training to drive and have to buy insurance, making the roads safer.

It got shot down because a license is sufficient I.D. at the polls, and of course we don't want "them" voting. The problem remains, they are here working and paying taxes. And driving illegally.

LN, Daschle and Gephardt, said what about the Shrubs plan?

Back to the drawing board again I am afraid for LN.

BTW, this "plan" is little changed but the headline. When are the Democrat NWO freaks going to start using their sticks, rotflmao?

Truth is the Dems LOVE this Bush Pardon Proposal(if it can be called that). It is Conservatives who "had a problem with it". Gee no kidding because it is totally illegal and 100% anti-American. Dems love it and fall right into the description around their pussy necks cause it is a "feely good" issue.

Bush is out-of-touch no doubt. But many of the Dems are out-for-the- count.

Congressional politics are highly balkanized and the Democrats play that game well. Anyone they ran in a conservative Republican's district would be a conservative Democrat - who could plausibly wield that stick.
