I have fitted silmotor pipes and have adjusted the CO to 4%. I have been told to check that the injectors are balanced.This seems sensible,i have vac gauges and have balanced loads of 4 carb bikes. I assume the procedure is much the same for the MV????

yep, same thing, if you have used the mercury meter on carburated bikes, its the same on the MV. I just did my TL1000R (fuel injected v- twin), and it even pulled the mercury to the same 24cm mark as all my in-line 4 cylinder bikes.
