Found a source of the convection 5 tray dehydrators (Kitchen (food preservation-other))

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

On one of my previous threads on dehydrating, I was asked where I got the electric convection units I use for finishing off the drying from the forced air units or to dry easily scorched vegetables. While the company I ordered from is no longer in buisness, a comparable 5 tray model is available from Ronco (yes the pocket fisherman folks) for $39.95. Their website is www.ronco.com if you would like to see it.

I have two of the Ronco dryers. Work great for me! For very tiny things like chopped chives I line the trays with plain white paper (one sheet thick only) and leave the central vent open. Works just fine and is less expensive than buying teflon sheeting.
