Congressmen Support Schulz -- D.C. Press Conference on Tuesday

Bob Schulz released the following press release this evening to all the major wire services.

Several U.S. Congressmen will hold a press conference next Tuesday afternoon at the Capitol to request the government give Schulz an offical response to his tax law petition.

Schulz is asking all people who live or work in the area to TAKE AN AFTERNOON OFF and support him at the Capitol. The opportunity to stand with these Congressmen in public to demand that the government execute their Constitutional obligation may not occur again.

Bob will have TRT (Tyranny Response Team) windbreakers available at the event.

It is believed General Gray Davis (Retired) will be in attendance. General Davis is the most highly decorated living veteran in the nation. As leader of AVIDD, American Veterans in Domestic Defense, Davis has fully mobilized his organization and the country's network of veteran's organizations to support Bob Schulz's defense of our Constitution.

As you know, Bob and Roland Croteau today complete Day 12 of their hunger fast. The We The People Foundation's legal petition seeks formal response to specific legal challenges regarding the true legal jurisdiction of the IRS, the income tax system and the 16th Amendment. The fast will continue until the government answers.

NEWS CONFERENCE ALERT Tuesday, July 17, 3:00 p.m. U.S. Capitol

Congressmen Say, "Federal Government Should Answer Questions about the Income Tax."

Washington D.C. -- We The People Foundation For Constitutional Education, Inc. announce that Congressmen Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) will hold a news conference on Tuesday, July 17th at 3 p.m. at the U.S. Capitol's House Triangle to request an official response from the federal government to the legitimate questions about the income tax raised in a petition by Robert Schulz, Chairman of the We The People Foundation.

Congressmen Ron Paul and other House members will attend in support. Schulz and Roland Croteau are currently fasting until the government formally responds.

Schulz' tax petition requests a formal and public response from the Government to specific legal research questioning the legal jurisdiction of the IRS and the validity of the 16th (income tax) Amendment. "We view this as evidence that pressure is building on the Government to respond to these Constitutionally protected Rights", said Schulz. Schulz has been engaged in raising public awareness of this issue for a number of years and believes the Government must respond to these questions as explicitly required by the Constitution.

"Defense of the Constitution is the first and primary legal duty of each and every official of the United States Government." Schulz remarked, "The time is quickly approaching where we will determine if we are a Nation of Law or not."

Thanks for the update! This is one of those cases that I wish would get a lot more publicity, like the Klamath Basin case, but I guess that is asking too much from our liberal media.

YAY!! I wish I could go -

About Klamath.... I'd like to ask everybody for their prayers for those farmers. THough I don't know which side I am on, I DO know that they are putting their very lives on the line to keep that water flowing, and I am praying for them almost constantly. Whether my loyalties are divided because of tribes, salmon, suckerfish or farmers, they need the water, and they are risking their lives and properties to get it. I have to respect, honor and applaude them for their actions. That kind of determination and bravery is what our country was founded on.

Please don't be too angry with me, either for the request or the indecision...

Thank you for laying your life on the line for the truth. I'm with you.
