Dear Kohnen,

Currently in my machine sql server 7.0 client has been installed. I'm trying to create a DSN for sql server 6.5 which resides in another domain. I'm using TCP/IP protocol. The system displays following error message.

[microsoft][odbc sql server driver][tcp/ip sockets]connectionopen. connection failed. check your network documentation.

Kindly give me the reply.
