Closing plant open since 1928

Doesn't it seem odd that a plant would close even though its been running since 1928. I believe we've had other recessions and such since 1928 but now its time to close? That's because the exodus of manufacturing jobs are going where labor is incredibly cheap. In order to stay competitive a company has to find cheap labor. Why is it cheap? Because its infinite. India has a billion people and China has 1.25 billion. The odd thing is I read far more often about the jobs going to China instead of India. Maybe China has fewer environmental regulations?
