Another manufacturer moves to china

I'm much too lazy to post all the plant closings that result in jobs being shifted primarily to China but I like to show the diversity of manufacturing that is being displaced here in the U.S. This time its an air conditioning manufacturer. I give it another ten years before we lose the preponderance of our manufacturing facilities. Especially during our mini-downturn there is no better time to shutter the facilities and make arrangements for production in China which has an INFINITE labor supply.

I also predict that china will have the worst (if they don't already) health due to environmental pollution and there cancer rates will skyrocket. They will lay waste to there entire country.

Fedders Corporation Liberty Point, NJ and Walkersville, MD The Fedders Corporation plans to cut 800 jobs, close a Maryland plant and move some air-conditioner production to Asia. Production will also be reduced at plants in Illinois, North Carolina and Tennessee, the company said. Fedders plans to increase production of air-conditioners in China significantly and will begin making dehumidifiers, rotary compressors and appliance air cleaners in Asia. Approximate affected work force: 501-1000
