I am from Holland (Europe) and I am going to shoot a documentary in September in L.A. I would like to rent a d.v. cam for a week with equipment and a editing set with betacam or d.v. cam recorder (pal&ntsc format), a i-mac with premiere and after-effects will do. Does anybody know where I might be able to do that? At the same time I am looking for a place to stay for 1 month (not a hotel), preferably in the down-town area of L.A.
