I was the victim of abuse by a gay male partner. He stole everything I owned using the legal system which does not protect gay and lesbian partners. Attorney's will not take the case based on precedents. Does anyone know of any advocacy groups that deal with this type of situation? Any support groups in the Louisville KY area? I am having a terrible time reconciling myself to the fact that a virtual stranger can rob me of my life and that there is no help out there. I would also be willing to speak to anyone in similar circumstances so that they can cope with these feelings. Nobody should go through this alone as I did.
