Shot with a Canon EOS D30 and a Canon 75-300 IS zoom at 300mm. Mild adjustments with Levels & Unsharp Mask in Photoshop.

The lens is seriously damaged; it was dropped and repaired but still shows gross coma in high contrast images. But in this instance the softness proved helpful.

This is a very cool image. About the only suggestion I have is to perhaps crop a bit off the right side to eliminate those darker corners. Other than that, this is really a great shot, congrats.

I like it quite a bit after many frustrations in macro photography. It's like a glamour photos for dragonflies.
