We are running low on this wonderfull stuff. this jar is the same stuff Steffs mom used on her bottom when she was a wee one, 30 some odd years ago. It was made by Johnson&Johnson but we can not find it any more. It has White mineral oil, Paraffin wax, Lanolin, White beeswax, and ceresin. this stuff works wonders on a diaper rash. does anyone know of a simular product.it just a bummer that its almost gone and they dont seem to make it any more.

I have just searched my house high and low and can't find my old bee newsletters which have the recipe you're searching for. The ingredients are borax, mineral oil, beeswax, and distilled water, but I can't remember ratios or mixing instructions. I'll look again tomorrow and hopefully someone else will come up with it sooner!

it's not the same, but Hyland's Calendula cream is what we always used and it was great! my kids rarely got diaper rash, but when I was in Russia for three months with my son, the water and harsh soap (and I'm sure handwashing the diapers had something to do with it) combined with not getting changed enough by a babysitter left his bottom raw. I'd put this on when I got home in the pm., and he'd pretty much be back to normal the next day......until the following evening....

A woman I know swears by Bag Balm, and the ingredients sound similar.

Someone gave me a jar of Aquaphor after the birth of my third baby. Its active ingredient is petrolatum. Other ingredients are mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, panthenol, glycerin, and bisabolol. The jar says its from the makers of Eucerin and I assume you can find it in the grown up skin care section. I also recommend calenda cream. Weeleda has a diaper rash cream with calendula and a plain calendula cream. Hope this helps
