Lost recipe- can you help me?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I cut out the recipe for banana-blueberry pie from my Taste of Home's Quick Cooking magazine - and I lost it. It was from the June/July 2000 issue, I think. It is my family's favorite pie recipe and they were looking forward to having some on the 4th of July. Surely some of you subscribe to Quick Cooking and can help me. Please, please! We'd be ever so grateful to you! Thank you! Jean

Jean, I don't subscribe to the magazine but found this recipe in one of my cookbooks. Don't know if it's the same recipe you're looking for. 2 8-inch pie shells or graham cracker crusts, 3 bananas, sliced, 1 (21-ounce) can blueberry pie filling, 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 (12-ounce) carton whipped topping, 1 tsp milk

If using dough crust, prebake. Place a layer of bananas on bottom of each shell, divide blueberries on top of bananas. Mix cream cheese, sugar and whipped topping; add milk to smooth. Spread on top of blueberries. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
