There are two 50 plus women traveling across the US that are looking for info on the Nevada trails and also looking for water or hay drops. You can read more about them and their route here: Current Route They intend to end up (eventually) in Delaware I believe. Somewhere on the site is a map of the whole route they intend to travel.

They would appreciate any help. Help could be a place to overnight or camp or advice on trails. If you go thru their site you will get a lot more info on them. Wouldn't that just be too awesome of a thing to do?

I do know one of the gals although until I saw this on the internet about her I had no idea she was undertaking such a trip! Eva lives at El Rancho de las Golondrinas - a Spanish Colonial Living History Museum in Santa Fe Yep, lives right on the museum grounds. She was actually born and raised right there as the property was owned by her parents who were the ones who decided they wanted to preserve the way of life in that little community so started the museum. The museum is now a non-profit and opened to the public. There are several homes on the property and I don't really know how it works but Eva and her two brothers each have a house. Really neat old houses I might add. There are lots of neat photos in the gallery there and they do have some reenactor type stuff going on with some of the festivals.

I bring donkeys down there and become part of the museum when I want to and I generally camp out on the museum grounds when I do. It's a gorgeous place. I'm going in the morning actually :c) There have also been some movies made there and I found a list on the internet of them:

Anyway if any of ya'll are anywhere near where these gals will be traveling I'll bet they would relish a hot shower or a lemonade or even a little trail company for a few miles.

Also, I'm looking for a donkey sized packsaddle. The horse ones just aren't a good fit.
