I just had to pass this on. For anyone using mono lights or packs and heads, a cheap way to go wireless in the studio is to buy the ST-E2 and a cheap optical slave. The near IR will trigger those slaves and eliminate the need to use a PC cord.

Naturally, others' flashes will also trigger such slaves so it may not be a good solution for location shooting.
