Same thing as early yesterday. What are spot prices for electrons doing?

What is new this morning is the table the ISO added to the bottom of this page:

http://www.caiso.com/outlook.html

They are disclosing the numbers behind the curve. Now, if only they would disclose how much they pay. The $$$ page still is stuck at April - says "temporarily suspended".

Also notice in the Table -- the 400 MW of QF's that were previously "unavailable" are now all available. ("Unavailable = 0")

Apparantly, computer glitches on this website are fairly common. If the graph above represented reality, ONLY persons with their own power source would be able to observe it.

This graph, if it were correct, would indicate: "CASCADING BLACKOUT", a total uncontrolled collapse of the electrical grid, caused by a severe, sudden, surprise decrease in generating capacity.

Fortunately, it's a glitch in this case. Sometime this summer, we may not be so lucky.
