For those of you who have purchased any Oakwood Mobil home I have new information for you, It seems that they have you sign a wavier that you know upon purchaseing the mobil home that the shingles are NOT backed by ANY WARRANTY.Please go over this with your dealer befor purchase. Ours needs repair after only one year and we are told that their is no warranty,

Roof shingles manufactuors issue warranty for their products to be free of defects in manufactoring, not for repair labor or property damage. If your shingles failed due to defects, and you have your paper works and did register the warranty, then call the local rep and present your problem. Do this before any thing else so the rep can see the damage and act on it. A bit like don,t destroy the evidence at a crime scene.
