I am old, 59,read a lot and know quite a bit about business topics. I have a small business in "Audio Visual" rentals. The work is routine but highly service oriented. It involves controlling semi-skilled personnel. Its got a good cash-flow and keeps my home fires burning. My son, 26, works with me and I am trying to get him to add value by learning how to make "Business Presentations' and offer our customers that service too. However, he is satisfied only with cash flow though I feel that in a year or two the market would only give a premium for added-value products. How do I reinvent my son?

Jamshed, You cannot re-invent your son. Only he can do that. 59 isn't old....not by a long shot. Why not learn how to do business presentations yourself? He may see what you are doing and want to join in....which is what you want. If not, you still have the skills and can offer this service to your customers.

Think about it.

Good luck,

Connie
