Near collision over the prairies
Air Canada admits two of their planes almost collided over Saskatchewan yesterday. Aviation Authorities confirm the two jets had to make sharp turns Friday afternoon after they came closer than the eight kilometre safety distance. Both pilots managed to take immediate action however a flight attendant and two passengers suffered minor injuries. One plane was flying to Vancouver from Toronto while the other jet was enroute to Winnipeg from Calgary.
