Zion National Park 2

This photo was taken from roadside about a mile or two east from the one I previously posted. The area is about 2 miles west of checkboard mesa near the only large turn out in the area. Camera settings were: 1/100, f10, ISO 80, focal length 18mm (equivilent to about 45mm lens), circular polarizing filter. Camera was Olympus E10. Adjustments in PhotoShop were level adustments to correct slight under exposure. Time was about 1/2 hour before sunset March 28, 2001. Photo is cropped to a ratio of 8:10 which took a little bit of the sky out.

My eye is not really sure where to go on this one. Either it's a picture of a dead tree with a distracting background, or a scenic with a distracting dead tree running through it...
