Sycamores in Pennsylvania losing leaves now!!!

Hi We have quite a few sycamore trees on our property. They are looking terrible losing leaves like it is fall. Upon inspection of the leaves i could not tell weather it is a fungus or insect problem. Does anyone else have a problem with their sycamore trees? The one tree is close to my vegetable garden and has the garden looking like fall.We have had a rainy season so I do not no if this is contributing.

From what i have been told there is a virus that runs in either a 5 yr. course or 3 yr.The tree is not harmed by it.

We have a sycamore tree that the leaves have been curling up on and falling off. I am told this is caused by a fungus that is especially prevalent in times of wet weather.

Thr trees probably have Sycamore Anthraknose. It's a fungal disease that causes the leaves to dry up and drop off. In severe cases the trees will lose enough leaves that proper photosynthesis does not take place and the tree will suffer. If that happens enought times the tree will use up it's stores and begin to die. To control the disease we microinject the tree with a product called fungisol just as the leaves are starting to break from the bud. Hope this helps.
