At one point today its shares went to $13; only a few months ago they were at $120 or so.

It's very sad. Nortel is a big influence in hi-tech. Ramifications of this are bad.

My husband's employer, General Cable, supplies Nortel. New orders are not coming in, so they announced layoffs yesterday with more to come. The economy is not looking good in east central Indiana. We are located in one of the those recessionary pockets looming through out the country. And, we have felt the impact of it for sometime now.
